Corporate theatre and video
Many people are unfamiliar with the technique of using theatre and performance as a corporate communication tool. However this has been used very effectively all over the world. I came over to the UK in 2000 with corporate communications company CommentUK, and created many theatre pieces for a wide variety of clients, including Lever Faberge, BBC Prime and Transport for London. Among other things, I scripted and directed the first ever live in-cinema commercial for Transport for London, which Campaign magazine voted one of the most effective cinema commercials of all time. Below, there is a sample of one theatre script, as well as a video script I wrote for HSBC's Muslim banking division.
This was a short play written for a BT Openzone conference, showing how being wirelessly connected affected the lives of a family. The play was a resounding success, and I write several versions of it which were performed at internal and partner conferences around the country.
