Recent articles, interviews and blog pieces for a variety of publications.
I wrote around ninety percent of the articles for QMA, Queen Mary University of London's alumni magazine for 2014. The features of which I am most proud include the cover story, an interview with alumna Emily Yates, the article on the Centre for Islam and the West, and the article about new advances in bowel cancer research.
I researched and wrote interviews for the autumn edition of King's Parade, the magazine for the alumni of King's College Cambridge. These included two short interviews with "new faces" at King's, and a longer interview with Adrian Munsey and Andrew Powell, both successful composers, who have gone on to record an album together.
I've been privileged to write a number of posts which were featured on the Mumsnet Bloggers' Network.
An opinion piece on Nigel Farage from UKIP and his admission that he has gone to lap-dancing clubs.
A piece on the 100th anniversary commemoration of the death of Emily Wilding Davison held at the Houses of Parliament.
An opinion piece on the abuse faced by Wimbledon Champion Marion Bartoli.
A feature on chicklit authors and feminism which sparked some interesting debate.
An interview with Caroline Criado-Perez, feminist campaigner, on the abuse and threats she faced after successfully campaigning to get a woman on UK banknotes.
